Growing...
A short update from the breeder:
Carli weighs the most so sleeps the most (they are staying up half an hr now! at a time)
...since we have moved them back out into the dining room where they are getting the full taste of the diff. sounds in the house. Up until now, they are just too sensitive (and difficult for me to control everything that happens in the household immediately) but I feel they are ready for it plus they need the handling from diff. people with diff. smells. As with humans, 4 females together will eventually have their tiffs with each other and it is funny to hear how serious they can "fight" with one another at this young age. Soon I will be able to determine who thinks she is the "queen"! They are showing their independence by sleeping away from the group, playing by themselves etc. so I have been pleased with all of that so far.
We get to add this little brindle bundle to our lives on Saturday, August 13th and cannot wait!! Everyone @ 3513 keeps telling Chloe that her world's about to change!
tick.
tock.

Carli
We received a few more pictures of our new puppy, Carli. A month to go until we can add her to our family! We are all pretty excited. Anxious, too, to see how Chloe will react to a visitor... that never seems to leave.

Aren't these two AVONS adorable?! |
Guess who is getting a new puppy in August?
Yes... Chloe is... ok, the Foreman family is... and we're hoping for a light colored female, but will take any female that comes from the litter of McKey and Cowboy. So we have about a three month wait until there's another furry critter in our house. We are adding another Avon Terrier sometime in August. JP said it was majority vote and well, obviously that was going to be a no-brainer for me and the boys. Since I am the one who works more hours out of the house it's going to be up to the boys (& Chloe) to train this new one in right... but I will certainly do my fair share when I am home. With Chloe being four years old now and seemingly bored or lonely, it's good timing to get another. I've never actually owned two dogs at once and know it will be a change for all of us, but I'm excited to give it a go! Those of you who have two dogs, please tell me this will be a good thing in the end!!![]() |
