music soothes the soul {part 2}

Our weekend was full to the bring with melodic sounds!

Sunday afternoon, Oliver sang with the All District Choir sponsored by the Twin Cities Youth Chorale.  It was held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Plymouth, Minnesota.  This was the third annual.  We were fortunate enough to also attend the first concert three years ago when Henry was in ADC.

I just love seeing the children so involved in music!

Directed by Patti Artnz, Accompanied by Andi Barnard

Three different choirs were featured and the event was well attended by family and friends.
The last song was sung by all three choirs (filling the stage below).

Our kids in blue sang the same songs I've heard before, but somehow it never gets boring.
Way to go, Oliver.  What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.  Thanks to Grandma & Grandpa, too, who made the trek to be in the audience!

can you spot Oliver?

A little bit of irony in this song this year...  as we haven't had much of a winter!
However, there is a snow storm predicted in the next few days.  Maybe the kids will get their wish?!

I love the actions and how much fun the kids have with this one.
