Ring the bells!

We volunteered to ring the Salvation Army bells for the first time this year...  and although the boys initially complained about the cold, it was a very rewarding hour spent volunteering as a family.  They took turns ringing in a "beat" with Dad at the North door of Byerly's, and then switched halfway through to sing carols with Mom at the South door.  I must admit, however, that our repertoire was not very creative (I think it only included 4 songs that we sang over and over and over again for the hour) and I got lost somewhere past SEVEN in the 12 Days of Christmas. But...  it was definitely a *festive* experience that we will add into our holiday traditions.

NOTE:  I heard on the radio this morning that there is a 3x Match for donations left in the kettle for the next two days, up to $1.2M.  Drop your change or a few folded bills and make someone's day!
