Our son leaves for Marine boot camp,

and his feet hit these yellow footprints.

A recruit.

Life will never be the same again.

For any of us.

89 days.

He spends training to become a Marine.

Leadership, discipline, brotherhood.

Country.

No longer the boy we raised, but a hero,

a Marine.

This former MN ARNG SSG momma also earns a new

title and becomes the Mother of a Marine.

A brand new #MoM.

89 days x 2.

Life will never be the same again.

His decision to serve our Country blows me away.

We couldn't be more proud.
