National Day of Prayer

Lifting up Adeye and little Hailee & Harper as they begin their new lives today.  Could it have fallen on a more fitting day!  Will you join in and pray for this new family?

Take some time out of your busy day and say a prayer or two...  for those you love, those who are hurting, our soldiers overseas fighting for our freedom, your enemies...  there is no better time than the present.  Don't forget to pray for our own government too!  For on this National Day of Prayer, it seems a little ironic that we do not allow prayer in schools, yet this tradition of setting aside a day specifically for prayer was enacted by the US Congress in 1952.
