It's been a whirlwind weekend & week!

Well, let's just say that I'm super thankful the flu held off until Sunday afternoon. We made it through a successful SURPRISE party for JP on Saturday night and then WHAM! I was struck down with the flu for more than 48 hours. I don't know how I'm always the lucky one - no one else in my house ever seems to get sick. I guess that's the Mom curse, eh?

To recap, we had a fabulous surprise on Saturday night - JP was very taken back by all the people that showed up in his honor. The band was fabulous, the food so-so, the company incredible!! Thanks again to everyone who showed up and made this the success that it was... we missed a few of you but know you were with us in spirit!
