Spouse Challenge on FB Day 4

Day 4 : Adventure
We share a love of travel, he and me. Although HE is getting far pickier about returning to places we've once visited, it's certainly been an exciting adventure to gather up a few belongings and hit the road a few times each year. If we won the lottery, we'd travel abroad to many exotic and beautiful locales on our wish list; but until then, our journey has brought us to the occasional bed & breakfasts, on trips to meet friends across country, and weekly to a nearby bar stool for our cherished date night.

Memories are made of this...

I am so thrilled for these two and the entire Armstrong High School Marching Band for the experiences that they have had this week in Florida. This is what memories and magic are made of... friendships, music and times together that culminate in life-long storytelling.

Catching a flight there tomorrow morning, I am thrilled to be able to finish up the week with them. They have another parade in Ybor City and will perform in the halftime show during the Outback Bowl.  Unfortunately, the halftime show is not televised, so between myself and a whole slew of parents, I am sure we will return with some video and pictures to share!

to be continued...

The boys are back from Colorado Springs!

After a long weekend and a 12 hour travel delay, the boys have landed back in Minneapolis!

airport delays...  slap happy boys!

MN Chill Purple 2017 Rising Juniors

Another weekend of LAX is officially in the books and I couldn't be more thankful to "the village" for all that they do to make it possible. From the goodie bag on Friday morning, to sending texts and pix from Colorado, to taking care of Oliver yesterday, and picking up Henry at MSP tonight today!  From the bottom of our hearts... thank you!

Hopeful for a few more pictures to share in the future, but this is all I could snag from social media today.

Time to unload, wash the clothes and pack it all up to do again next Saturday in Delaware!  Oh, and somewhere in between, a few naps for everyone.

Day 1 in Colorado Springs

There was a 2 hour rain delay that made the games all 45 minutes each.  Henry's team lost one and won one.  Three games on Saturday and then Sunday is determined based on ranking.

Friends of ours made the trek out to Colorado and have been keeping us in the loop, as well as taking pictures and cheering for the boys!

In between games, Henry & Brennan showed up to cheer on Sean.

The boys also hiked up to Pike's Peak when they arrived on Thursday.

Another year, another LAX trip with MN Chill

Henry is headed to Colorado Springs this morning for the first of two lacrosse trips this month.  Last year he took a bus to both and is excited to be flying instead this year!  I dropped this bunch off at Terminal 2 at o'dark thirty this morning.  They're smiling and a bit sleepy, but ready to go play some lacrosse in Colorado.

These are the games Henry & Brennan are expecting to play over the weekend, as well as bracket tournament play on Sunday.

Hopeful I will be able to find some updates and/or pictures from other friends who are traveling with the teams this trip.  Stay tuned for possible updates!

up north

JP & Henry are up in the BWCA this week.  I am in Nisswa for a work event midweek.

We sure have some beautiful land to explore in Minnesota.  I've walked the property of the resort and tried to get some photos to share with family.  This would be a wonderful place for a gathering!

I am sure I will have an album to upload soon of the BWCA trip too.  Check back this weekend for a recap of their trip.
